Homeowner: Iris
Iris is the future homeowner of our Habitat home being built on Granite St. in Nashua, NH. Iris and her two young children will have a safe, decent and brand new home to thrive in for many years to come. Iris will also put 350 sweat equity hours into building her home alongside our volunteers and attend financial education classes. She has already started some of the hard work of her sweat equity which will give her all the necessary tools and preparation for a wonderful future of stability and self-reliance. Iris went from homelessness to completing a transitional housing program at The Front Door Agency in Nashua, to a homeowner! We are so happy to partner with Iris, who never fails to bring an abundance of positive energy and her uplifting spirit!
