who we are
our vision
A world where everyone has a decent place to live.
To free Greater Nashua from substandard housing and offer low to moderate income families a chance at affordable homeownership.

our mission
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity helps lift people, fosters hope, and unites diverse groups to improve the lives of individuals, families, and communities by building, renovating, and repairing homes.

about
Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity's (GNHFH) mission is to provide safe, decent and affordable housing in the southern New Hampshire towns we serve. We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that works to strengthen families and communities through affordable homeownership opportunities.
Working together side by side with corporations, like-minded community groups, faith-based organizations, schools, individual volunteers, etc., GNHFH strives to develop better, affordable living conditions which will lead to improved health, stronger childhood development, and the ability — and financial flexibility — to make forward-looking choices.
We partner with families whose income is above public housing guidelines but are unable to qualify for conventional mortgages. Qualified families are given a hand up (not a hand out). Habitat home buyers earn the homes they build through sweat equity and by repaying affordable mortgages as well as paying city/town property taxes and homeowner insurance premiums.
Habitat is committed to developing and uplifting families and communities in addition to constructing houses. In the spring of 2023, we will begin construction on our 16th habitat home.

who we serve
Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity serves the local communities of Amherst, Brookline, Greenville, Hollis, Hudson, Lyndeborough, Mason, Merrimack, Milford, Mont Vernon, Nashua, Pelham, Wilton and Windham
