			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This week, we&#8217;ll continue with volunteer framing at <a href="/projects/russell-street-wilton/">our new home site at the corner of Russell and Maple Streets in Wilton</a>.</p>
<p>Expecting subcontractors to run sewer / water lines, run perimeter drain, complete initial backfill, add stone inside foundation, pour concrete for basement floor, and bring in temporary power.</p>
<p>Volunteer work: Install rim and floor joists, then plywood flooring to cap foundation. Frame stairwell access. Time permitting, next steps are laying our bottom plate, then starting exterior walls and sheathing.</p>
<p><span id="more-1749"></span>Directions from NH-101A, heading WEST out of Nashua:</p>
<ol>
<li>Turn LEFT after NH-101 overpass to take the RT-101 W ramp toward PETERBOROUGH/KEENE, merging onto NH-101 (Milford bypass). Caution: temporary 45 mph speed limit for construction is being enforced 24/7. 4.9 mi to -</li>
<li>Turn LEFT onto ELM ST/NH-101. 0.8 mi to -</li>
<li>Turn (bear) RIGHT onto WILTON RD. 0.5 mi to -</li>
<li>WILTON RD becomes MAIN ST. 0.3 mi to -</li>
<li>Turn RIGHT onto RUSSELL ST. 0.1 mi to -</li>
<li>End at site on the right, corner RUSSELL ST &amp; MAPLE ST.</li>
</ol>
<p>See as many of you as can make it, starting by 9:00.</p>
<p>Completed since last Saturday:</p>

<li>Russell Street, Wilton: Poured foundation walls. Installed bulkhead. Waterproofed outside of foundation. Mounted foam insulation outside foundation. Started backfill. Put up pole for temporary power. Bolted sill plate to foundation. Fabricated and mounted main girders onto lally columns.</li>

<p>Thanks for responses to date on new parking area for the HFH truck. It should soon have its new home…</p>
<p>Also, still looking for a storage area suitable for donated windows and bathroom toilets / sinks. These would go into the Milford duplex, meaning that we’d want storage from mid-December through early next fall when they would go into the duplex. Will also be looking for volunteers to help move these items from Bedford.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This Saturday, we’ll continue supporting Southern NH Rescue Mission (40 Chestnut Street, Nashua) to put in emergency and handicapped egress that will allow for a new basement dormitory. Specifically, we’ll put up drywall in the two rest rooms (5/8” on ceilings, ½” on interior walls), start hanging drywall in the adjacent hallway, and finish hanging drywall on the interior dorm wall. This is all indoor work.</p>
<p><span id="more-1221"></span>Directions from Everett Turnpike Exit 7 (Amherst Street exit) to the mission –</p>
<ol>
<li> Start out going SOUTHEAST on US-3/ NH-101A/ AMHERST ST toward US-3 S/ HENRI A BURQUE DR. Continue to follow NH-101A/ AMHERST ST.  1.6 mi to</li>
<li>Turn RIGHT onto MAIN ST/ DANIEL WEBSTER HWY.  0.2 mi to</li>
<li>Turn RIGHT onto WATER ST.  0.2 mi to</li>
<li>Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto FACTORY ST.  &lt;0.1 mi to</li>
<li>Turn LEFT onto CHESTNUT ST.  0.2 mi to</li>
<li>End at 40 CHESTNUT ST (2nd building on LEFT). Parking on street, and behind building</li>

<li>40 Chestnut Street, Nashua (Southern NH Rescue Mission) – Hung ½” drywall on west side of main dorm area, less posts supporting the ceiling I-beams. Framed both rest rooms – ready for drywall.</li>

<li>Burn brush at Tonella Road, Milford – after 1st snow.</li>
