This week, we’ll continue with volunteer framing at our new home site at the corner of Russell and Maple Streets in Wilton.

Expecting subcontractors to run sewer / water lines, run perimeter drain, complete initial backfill, add stone inside foundation, pour concrete for basement floor, and bring in temporary power.

Volunteer work: Install rim and floor joists, then plywood flooring to cap foundation. Frame stairwell access. Time permitting, next steps are laying our bottom plate, then starting exterior walls and sheathing.

This Saturday, we’ll continue at the Southern NH Rescue Mission (40 Chestnut Street, Nashua) to finish installing door hardware, plus other punch list items before SNHRM gets its certificate of occupancy. This is all indoor work.
