Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity Elects New Board of Directors

Elects New Officers, Holds First Meeting

Nashua – The Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity has elected a new Board of Directors; terms are two-years long. Newly elected members include Ray Doucette, Robert Gual, Chris Houpis, Ed Lopez, Marie Matthews, Stephanie Allen, and Sam Purusotham. Re-elected members include: Karen Files, and Jerry Harrow.

The new Board of Directors convened for the first time this month. President Jerry Harrow, who was re-elected as President of the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity by the Board of Directors, stated that he “looks forward to working with this diverse and energetic group of leaders”. He added: “The Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity is currently accepting applications for properties in Wilton and Nashua; we hope to place new families in these properties soon – that, and the growing number of small projects we are tackling will keep newly elected board members busy… it also means that we are still looking for volunteers to help grow our organization and to help us raise funds for these projects”.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need.

If you would like more information about this topic, or to schedule an interview with GNHFH President Jerry Harrow, please call Ed Lopez at 603-883-0295 or email Ed at ed.lopez@nashabitat.org.
