Public Relations Committee
The Committee’s responsibility is to keep the mission of the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity in the public eye in order to help recruit volunteers and find families to partner with in our effort to provide decent, safe, and affordable places to live.
The Committee works with local, regional, and national media by distributing press releases, public service announcements, and by assisting with the advertising of events run by other committees at GNHFH, as well as playing an active role in fundraising efforts. The Committee coordinates the writing, editing, managing, and printing efforts of the quarterly GNHFH Affiliate News. Other efforts committee members undertake include writing and designing brochures, pamphlets, flyers, and posters. Members of the committee also act as community liaisons and are often invited to speak in churches, community organizations, schools, colleges, universities and many other community events.
The Public Relations Committee seeks volunteers with any level of experience or interest in public relations, communications, public speaking, journalism, marketing, advertising, graphic design, video and audio production.
To volunteer for the Public Relations Committee, please contact Matthews and Suzanne Bates at matthew.bates@nashuahabitat.org and suzanne.bates@nashuahabitat.org respectively. You can also call at 603.883.0295.
