As an all-volunteer, non-profit charity, Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity depends on the generous donations of our supporters to achieve our mission. If you wish to support us, there are many ways you can contribute. The following are some of the many ways you can support us:
Donate Land
Land is our most critical and ever-present need in our efforts to build affordable homes. Learn more about how to help us obtain land.
Donate Time
Since we are an all-volunteer organization, the need for dedicated volunteers – both for building houses and for building the organization – is always there. Learn more about available opportunities if you wish to donate a few hours or to become a leader.
Donate Money
We always need money to achieve our mission. Most of the money is used to pay for the expenses of building materials and of services to complete the homes and for the expenses of selecting and supporting families. Learn more about some of the typical costs involved in building a house.

We are recognized by the IRS as a 501[c]3 organization, so your donations are tax deductible. Our EIN, or Federal Tax ID, is 02-0459739. Also, many companies match the charitable donations of their employees. If you work for one of these companies, please submit the appropriate forms for us to receive the matching gift.
If you wish to use your credit card to make a donation to us, please go to the Habitat for Humanity International website to make an online donation. Be sure to indicate that you want your donation to go to the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
Some companies allow their employees to donate to charities through an annual campaign. If your company has such a campaign, please inquire about making a donation to us.
Some people like to make a pledge to donate on an annual, quarterly, or monthly basis. If you wish to do this, please send us a note to set up a program that works for you.

Donate Building Materials
When building a new Habitat home, we take pride in constructing a quality house. Therefore, we accept only quality new materials that are consistent with the current project. We do not have storage facilities to store materials for long periods of time for future projects. We rarely accept paint since we need quantities adequate to complete entire areas, and we want to give the families some choice in the colors in their house. We prefer to be given an account at a local building supply outlet from which we can purchase the materials we need. Nonetheless, if you have materials that you think we may use, please send us a note describing what you wish to donate, and we shall assess if we can use the item(s).

Donate Household Items & Appliances
Like building materials, we only accept new items and appliances to be used in a Habitat house. Most appliances are donated by national companies that support Habitat for Humanity. If you have items you think we may be able to use, please send us a note describing what you wish to donate, and we shall assess if we can use the item(s).
Donate Automobiles
Your car donation can help Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity build homes in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable shelter. Wills & Estates
Often, people can make a significant impact on the future by specifying in their will that some portion of their estate go to a charity they support. If you decide to include us in your will, please send us a note so that we can thank you and make arrangements to fulfill on you wishes. If you can leave us land, this would be a godsend.
Memorial Funds
These days, it is common to ask that donations be made to charities in lieu of flowers when a loved one passes away. If you wish to have donations go to Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity for a loved one, please send us a note so that we can handle them appropriately. Each donation will be acknowledged by us, and we shall send the family a list of donors and their addresses so that a personal “thank you” can be sent. If you wish, we can list the memorial fund on this website. Please discuss with us any particular arrangements you want to make. If you wish a memorial fund for yourself, please make your wishes known to your family.
