GREATER NASHUA HABITAT FOR HUMANITY SEEKS INTERNS AND WORK-STUDY PARTICIPANTS
Habitat for Humanity Seeks Students to Help Staff Office
Nashua – The Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity is seeking interns and work-study participants from colleges and universities in the Greater Nashua Area.
“The opportunity to work for the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity is unique for students in that it offers them the chance to work with greater latitude and to participate in the decision-making process of the organization more than they might expect”, says Office Manager and Board of Directors member Marie Matthews. ”We look forward to working with students from the area on either a part-time or full-time basis: interns can earn school credit and work-study participants can earn pay for the time they invest in the organization.” Both the internship and work-study programs are coordinated through the student’s college or university.

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009This Saturday, we’ll clear the punch list items at 63 Tolles Street, Nashua for our new partner family. So far: Replace kitchen sink faucet, patch door to left rear bedroom, and patch crack at back corner of tub. This should be a short day…

Tuesday, January 13th, 2009This Saturday, we’ll continue – maybe finish – interior painting for our new partner family at 63 Tolles Street, Nashua. This will be mostly on the woodwork trim.

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009Happy New Year!
This Saturday, we’ll (a) start interior painting for our new partner family at 63 Tolles Street, Nashua… and (b) install weatherization on two sets of dwellings assigned by Stay Warm NH. We’ll meet at 63 Tolles for both sets of work.
